In December, '07, Susi was given an award by cable TV hostess Marie Younkin-Waldman , of the show "Tea With Marie". Broadcasts Susi appeared in were given a PEG Award, cable TV's Golden Globe equivalent. Marie presented Susi with a placque which reads:
"In appreciation of her gracious qualities to overcome many obstacles in life and to continue on with great spirit and creativity that is inspiring to other women."
Five other Rhode Island women received this award with Susi.

Susi Franco is continuing her support of the Rhode Island PBS Arts Auction with a beautiful donation. Susi will be a featured auctioneer during the televised portion of the auction on Friday, November 16th 6:30pm.

Susi exhibits locally/regionally throughout the East Coast and is a resident artist at Galerie Bel Age in The Hamptons and Mariner Framers' Gallery in Narragansett, RI. In 2005 she competed in an international show in Beijing, China, and out of a field of over 1,500 artists from 637 countries, won Honorable Mention for her portrayal of a Snowy Egret. The show toured China and was intended to raise consciousness of the plight of the avian ecology, which is in environmental jeopardy in that country.
In 2006 she competed in the Associacion Ruiz Aznar in Granada, Spain, and won Second Prize in the Large Works category. Her work is in permanent displays in public galleries and museums in both Spain and China, as well as in the northeastern United States. The painting which won in Spain has been selected by the Assoziacione Culturale SÉMATA of TARANTO (Italy) for Exhibition in the MEDIEVAL CASTLE of AYALA VALVA of Carosino, Italy, in March of 2007, in International collaboration ESPAÑA-ITALIA.
Through this European art association and ongoing collaborative efforts, Susi’s work will soon be exhibited in France, Belgium, Portugal, NY and Miami. Exhibit schedules will be updated here.
Susi’s paintings currently hang in three galleries on the East Coast and are collected by buyers from Oregon to Florida, Maine to California, and she has a strong European following and web presence.
